"Nuseirat Tragedy" - UN: Every Day This War Continues, It Becomes More Horrific!

UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Martin Griffiths, announced today that "the scenes of killing and destruction in Nuseirat camp, following the Israeli operation that resulted in the deaths of 200 and injuries to 400 Palestinian civilians, prove that every day this war continues, it becomes more horrific." He pointed out that "today, Nuseirat camp is the center of the tragedy that Palestinian civilians are still enduring." Griffiths called for the release of all detainees in Gaza and the protection of all civilians, urging that "this collective suffering must end now."
