The "Lebanon Alerts" account, which specializes in sharing earthquake-related news on the "X" platform, reported three earthquakes in Lebanon today, Saturday. The quakes ranged between magnitudes of 3 and 3.5, striking the Mediterranean Sea and felt by residents of Beirut, Tripoli, and Metn. Seismologist Tony Nimer noted that "the earthquake this evening, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale in the Lebanese sea, occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers on one of the minor faults to the south of the Latakia marine range. It is worth mentioning that the maritime area between Lebanon and Cyprus contains many active faults, but most of them lead to low-magnitude earthquakes."
