Launch of the First Train Trips for the Holy Sites for This Year's Hajj Season

Today at dawn, the train serving the holy sites began its first trips for the Hajj season of the year 1445 AH, to assist the guests of God in their movements between the holy sites in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah through its nine stations spread in those areas. The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that the Saudi Railways Company "SAR" announced last Monday the completion of the experimental operation phase which lasted over 90 days, during which the readiness of the 17 trains was confirmed. In the past months, extensive maintenance operations were conducted, and all systems used in the trains, stations, signaling and communication systems, as well as operations and control center systems were upgraded.
