Attack on Settlers' Bus Injures 7 Israeli Soldiers in West Bank (Video)

Palestinians attacked a settlers' bus near the village of Deir Bzeih west of Ramallah early this Friday morning. Israeli radio reported, citing the Israeli army, that one or more gunmen fired on the bus in a valley adjacent to the settlements of Dolev and Talmon built on Palestinian village lands. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority "Kan" stated that the attack resulted in 7 injuries, one of whom is in critical condition and two in serious condition. Israeli radio reported that 7 soldiers were wounded in clashes with a Palestinian gunman that followed the assault on the settlers' bus.

Sounds of gunfire were heard near the town of Deir Bzeih west of Ramallah amidst the presence of occupation forces. Earlier reports from Israeli media indicated that 4 injuries occurred due to gunfire on settlers in the Ramallah area. Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Palestinian perpetrator of the attack was killed after injuring 4 soldiers and shooting at the bus. Israeli forces stated that there were no injuries and that an exchange of fire continued for some time in the area, which is experiencing large-scale searches, closures, and incursions into the villages of Deir Bzeih and Kafr Ni'ma, involving military helicopters. Yedioth Ahronoth reported that clashes began at 5:30 AM and are still ongoing, noting that there is difficulty in evacuating the injured, and a security cordon has been imposed around the area of Kafr Ni'ma and Deir Bzeih.
