Palestinians attacked a settlers' bus near the village of Deir Bzeih west of Ramallah early this Friday morning. Israeli radio reported, citing the Israeli army, that one or more gunmen fired on the bus in a valley adjacent to the settlements of Dolev and Talmon built on Palestinian village lands. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority "Kan" stated that the attack resulted in 7 injuries, one of whom is in critical condition and two in serious condition. Israeli radio reported that 7 soldiers were wounded in clashes with a Palestinian gunman that followed the assault on the settlers' bus.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported that clashes began at 5:30 AM and are still ongoing, noting that there is difficulty in evacuating the injured, and a security cordon has been imposed around the area of Kafr Ni'ma and Deir Bzeih.
