Palestinians attacked a settlers' bus near the village of Deir Bzeih west of Ramallah early this Friday morning. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority "Kan" stated that the attack resulted in 7 injuries, one of whom is in critical condition and two in serious condition. Israeli radio reported that 7 soldiers were wounded in clashes with a Palestinian gunman that followed the assault on the settlers' bus.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported that clashes began at 5:30 AM and are still ongoing, noting that there is difficulty in evacuating the injured, and a security cordon has been imposed around the area of Kafr Ni'ma and Deir Bzeih.
