The "Capannelle Racetrack" in the Italian capital, Rome, will host the Al Wathba Cup "Stallions" race tomorrow, Sunday, as part of the 16th edition of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Festival. The race will cover a distance of 1700 meters and features 7 purebred Arabian horses aged 3 years.
The favorites include "Farah HC M" ridden by Manuel Burco, and "Fly Desert" ridden by Francisco Dettori, both belonging to Valentin Dogs for Horses and trained by Stefano Mitini.
Owner Giacquili Santini Giuliemo will participate with the filly "Farah Dajubio" ridden by Andrea Filli and trained by Camelia Trabasi. The colt "Vispro" represents owner Claudia Di Caprella and is trained by Massimiliano Nardozzi, with jockey Germano Marcelli. The filly "Fontana Una" will be ridden by Giuli Gengui and is owned and trained by Livio Pigionni, while the colt "Furilig" belonging to Costano Salaris is ridden by Riccardo Lacobini, and the colt "Kingdom" is trained by Cristian Mitini and ridden by Giuseppe Arikovich.
