Israeli police announced the arrest of 5 activists who blocked a road north of Tel Aviv during a "Day of Resistance" campaign against the government. The police press office added that large police units have been working since Sunday morning to ensure security, public order, and traffic movement during the protest demonstration and marches, some of which were not coordinated with security personnel. The statement from the office noted, "For a while, a group of protesters engaged in riotous activities that accompanied the blocking of the main road at the Kfar Yarkon junction... The police declared this demonstration illegal and dispersed it. During the effort to reopen the highway, police arrested 5 suspects for public disorder." Israeli protest movements declared July 7 as a national "Day of Resistance" against the government.
