In a bizarre incident, a bird attacked a presenter while she was hosting her radio show live, causing her to bleed from her hand. The presenter insisted on continuing the program and speaking to her audience without any change. A report published by the local newspaper "Metro" in London, which "Al Arabiya.net" reviewed, stated that the British presenter Amanda Keller was attacked by a colorful bird during the broadcast of her show on (WSFM) radio. Despite the bird's attack resulting in bleeding from her hand, she continued the program.
At the time of the incident, Amanda was talking on her show "Jonesy and Amanda" with her co-host Brendan Jones when the bird attacked her. The radio stars were caring for birds this week, having brought a 19-year-old pet bird to the studio to participate in the broadcast. Amanda was wearing a pink coat and plastic gloves, but she was not protected from the bird's assault, which was in a cage inside the studio. She attempted to feed the bird grapes when she reached inside the cage to hold it, prompting the bird to peck at her and attack.
The bite was minor but drew blood, with Amanda screaming in pain, according to the "Metro" article. She pointed to the small mark on her finger joint, saying, "Look, thanks to you, blood," and sarcastically added, "What a horrific injury I've sustained." To clarify the reason behind the presenters caring for the bird, a comment on their post read, "For those who aren't aware of the story, we have been caring for our beloved 19-year-old Rainbow Lorrikeet named Craig for a week." Many followers expressed their admiration for the special guest on the radio show and praised Amanda and Brendan.
