A Syrian official source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates indicated to the Sana news agency today, Tuesday, that the diplomatic mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has resumed its operations. The Arab Syrian Republic has decided to resume its diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia to serve Arab joint work, reflecting the deep ties and shared affiliation of the people of Syria and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the aspirations of both nations and the importance of enhancing bilateral relations among Arab countries.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that a Syrian delegation arrived in Moscow this evening, headed by Foreign Minister Dr. Faisal Mekdad, to participate in a quadripartite meeting involving the Foreign Ministers of Syria, Russia, Iran, and Turkey. The Syrian delegation will also hold bilateral meetings with both the Russian and Iranian delegations. During these discussions, the Syrian delegation will emphasize the necessity of ending the Turkish occupation of Syrian territories, the withdrawal of all illegal foreign forces, as well as the importance of non-interference in Syrian internal affairs and not supporting terrorism.
