UAE President in Italy for G7 Summit

The President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived in Italy today, Friday, for a working visit during which he will participate in the G7 Summit, which has commenced in Italy. His participation comes in response to an invitation from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, as Italy is the current rotating president of the group. Italy has also invited several other parties to participate, including Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and others. It is noted that the Saudi Crown Prince declined to attend due to internal commitments related to the "Hajj season," according to Saudi media sources.
