Bail Granted for Hossam Habib

The Egyptian prosecution has released artist Hossam Habib on a five thousand Egyptian pounds bail in a case brought against him by singer Sherine Abdel Wahab for allegedly hitting her. The public prosecution has decided to summon singer Sherine Abdel Wahab to hear her statements regarding the complaint she filed against her ex-husband Hossam Habib and to respond to the allegations made against him. Security forces in Cairo had arrested artist Hossam Habib for allegedly assaulting his ex-wife, Sherine Abdel Wahab, inside an apartment used as a studio in the First Settlement area of Egypt.
