Sudden Death of Artist Sami Al-Adl's Son

The daughter of Egyptian artist Sami Al-Adl announced the death of her brother Ahmed Al-Adl, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning. The young director died after suffering a sudden stroke that led to a severe drop in blood circulation, resulting in his last breath. This same illness claimed the life of his father, the late artist Sami Al-Adl, eight years ago. The family declared that the funeral will take place today, Saturday, from Al-Farouk Mosque in Maadi, south of Cairo. Rasha wrote in a post on her Facebook account: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. My beloved brother and soul, Ahmed Sami Al-Adl, has passed away." She added: "Please pray for him, O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him and admit him to the highest paradise without reckoning or prior punishment. Make his grave a garden from the gardens of paradise." For her part, executive producer Israa Al-Adl stated that the cause of Ahmed Sami Al-Adl’s death remains unclear, noting that he had suffered from pulmonary clots and mentioning that he might have contracted the "Corona" virus in the recent past, affirming that she does not know the reason for his clots. She said: "We were surprised by his transfer to the hospital yesterday after his illness worsened," indicating that the time for the funeral of the deceased will be after the Asr prayer from Al-Farouk Mosque in Maadi. It is noteworthy that the late actor worked as both an actor and director and also served as an assistant director. He appeared in the series "Fawq Mustawa Al-Shubahāt" starring actress Yousra, among other works, including "Haret Al-Yahud" and as an assistant director in "Al-Hisab Yajma’a." Artist Sami Al-Adl passed away on July 10, 2015, at the age of 68 due to a severe drop in blood circulation caused by heart muscle weakness.
