As part of its initiatives supporting the nation and its strong belief in its determination, "Spinneys" has launched a partnership with the Lebanese Basketball Federation to support the national team in the World Cup and other upcoming matches and tournaments throughout the year. This makes them the main official supporter that aims to restore the glories of Lebanese basketball through the participating champions elevating Lebanon's name. For this purpose, "Spinneys" will also hold a public event, the date of which will be announced later this month, to celebrate this partnership on a national scale. Additionally, this partnership will allow basketball fans to experience the event in Lebanon and encourage their team by purchasing special jerseys of their favorite players, available at all its branches, along with other products specifically designed for this occasion featuring the team’s images for support.
Commenting on this national partnership, Hossan Azzeh-Din, Chairman of the Board of Gray Mackenzie Retail Group, stated: "We are proud to be the official supporters of our national team through this partnership, to bring Lebanon, as we dream of, back to the map of advanced countries and elevate Lebanese sports to international levels." He added: "This nation has proven once again its ability to rise with the determination of its people and the ambitions of its youth, hoping that the team will fulfill the desired hopes and all aspirations and goals."

For his part, the President of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, Akram Halabi, expressed his gratitude to "Spinneys" for this sponsorship, saying: "Lebanon desperately needs our solidarity today as a community and partners in all sectors to help it achieve its goals through the participation of its national team in the World Cup.
