Israeli Army Announces "Tactical Ceasefire" in Southern Gaza Strip

The Israeli army announced today, Sunday, that it will enforce a "tactical ceasefire in military activities" daily in part of southern Gaza Strip during specified daytime hours to allow for the entry of humanitarian aid. The army stated in a statement that "a local tactical ceasefire in military activities for humanitarian purposes will be implemented from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day until further notice," starting from the Keren Shalom crossing to Salah al-Din Road and then northward.
