Motorcycle racer and charitable leader Hamda Tareem Al-Shamsi has passed away at the age of 24. She died following a tragic accident, as reported by media outlets, taking her last breaths in a hospital in Abu Dhabi. The announcement of her death came as a shocking surprise to her followers and fans. Hamda Tareem was considered one of the most prominent female motorcycle racers in the United Arab Emirates and developed a passion for cars from a young age. She learned to drive off-road before deciding to enter the world of motorcycles, becoming a professional rider and competitor, and was recognized as the first Emirati female car racer.
A significant number of stars from the arts and social community expressed their condolences for Hamda Tareem, emphasizing that they had lost an ambitious young woman known for her humanitarian and charitable initiatives in African countries and Southeast Asia. Emirati artist Hussain Al Jassmi mourned her on his personal account on X (formerly Twitter), writing in a tweet: "Giving never dies... May Allah have mercy on her, forgive her, and grant patience to her family and loved ones."
Saudi actor Faiz Al Maleki also paid tribute to her through his X account, stating in a tweet: "To the gardens of paradise, Hamda Tareem Al-Shamsi, may the mercy of God be upon you."
