Receipt of a New Batch of Qatari Financial Aid

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced that "the Army Command has received a new batch of Qatari financial aid worth $20 million, provided by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, to the Lebanese Army, as part of the continuous support for the military institution amid the current challenges." The aid will be distributed equally among the military personnel once the administrative procedures are completed. Army Commander General Joseph Aoun thanked this valuable initiative, affirming that it contributes to alleviating the burden of the crisis on the military personnel.
