A wave of car theft is sweeping Lebanon, as the city of Beirut has witnessed thefts in various Lebanese areas. Recently, there has been an increase in the theft of "car tires" in several areas, specifically in the Hamra and Verdun neighborhoods. Several citizens have reported their car tires being stolen in broad daylight.
