Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that there is physical exhaustion and psychological fatigue among many Israeli soldiers due to the war in Gaza. Maariv revealed that a senior officer informed military leadership of the necessity to abandon the motto of "operations at any cost" and that the army is not ready for a prolonged war in the north. It stated, "More than 500 Israeli armored vehicles were damaged during the attacks, including dozens that were completely incapacitated."
