Israeli Plan to Place Palestinian Prisoners in Large Cages

The Israeli Prison Service plans to place a number of Palestinian prisoners in large cages to alleviate overcrowding in prisons. Israeli Channel 14 reported that the plan, which will be presented at a ministerial meeting, involves transferring prisoners to the "Sde Teyman" detention facility in the Negev. Since the start of the war, the Israeli army has arrested thousands of Palestinians, including women and children, with only a small number released later, while the fate of others remains unknown amidst reports of torture and systematic killings of prisoners.
