This morning, Sunday, the ceremony of washing the Sacred Kaaba commenced, attended by the Deputy Emir of Mecca, Prince Saud bin Mishal. The Deputy Emir entered the door of the Sacred Kaaba using a designated ladder to begin the washing ceremony, which starts with perfuming it with large quantities of incense and high-quality fragrances. The stages of washing the Kaaba also include cleaning its floor with Zamzam water mixed with luxurious scents of musk and rose water. The third and final stage involves washing the walls of the Kaaba with water prepared for this purpose, also using Zamzam water.
