Armed Robbery at a Currency Exchange Shop in Kesrouan

According to the National News Agency, armed individuals entered a currency exchange shop in Zouk Mikayel - Kesrouan this afternoon, stealing an amount of 20 million Lebanese pounds and the shop owner's mobile phone. The robbers attempted to take the safe key to steal additional cash, resulting in a struggle between the shop owner and the thieves, during which the assailants struck him on the head with the butt of their guns, causing multiple injuries. They then fled to an unknown location. The shop owner was transported by the Red Cross to "Saint John" Hospital in Jounieh. Security forces and forensic evidence teams arrived immediately, and investigations began to identify the robbers.
