Today, Wednesday, the head of the "Free Patriotic Movement", Deputy Gibran Basil, sent a congratulatory message to the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, on assuming his position. Basil affirmed that "Lebanon and the United Kingdom share a rich history and mutual respect," noting that "there are great possibilities to strengthen ties through ongoing cooperation, in economic development, education, and cultural exchange."
