Approximately twenty people have died in the past 24 hours at the regional hospital in Beni Mellal, Morocco, due to a heatwave, according to the Ministry of Health. The ministry stated in a statement that the Beni Mellal Regional Hospital recorded 21 deaths on Wednesday, including 4 deaths outside hospital premises and 17 hospital-related deaths.
