Security Forces Receive Donation of Medicines from Red Crescent

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced today, Saturday, in a statement that "on May 26, 2024, a large donation of medicines was received from the Emirates Red Crescent to the Internal Security Forces via the Lebanese Red Cross. This afternoon, Major General Imad Othman, Director General of Internal Security Forces, welcomed Mr. Hamoud Abdullah Al-Junaibi, Deputy Secretary-General for Local Affairs at the Emirates Red Crescent, accompanied by Mr. Saeed Suhail Mohammed Al-Mazrouei, Director of Government Communication, leading a delegation. Major General Othman thanked them for the kind gesture from the United Arab Emirates in assisting the Internal Security Forces in the health sector, and both parties exchanged commemorative shields as a token of love and appreciation. On the same date, the delegation had visited in the morning, alongside Mr. Nabil Aytani, Assistant Secretary-General for Supply and Information Technology at the Lebanese Red Cross, and Mr. Andre Ma'tar, Deputy Director of the Supply and Logistics Department, the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Medical Centre at Emil Habibi Barracks, where they were received by Brigadier Engineer Issam Takoush, Head of the Administrative Affairs Division, Brigadier Henry Mansour, Head of the Health Department, and several relevant officers to receive this donation of medicines and medical laboratory equipment. The attendees then moved to Rafic Hariri International Airport - Cargo Terminal, to inspect and receive the shipment."
