Saudi poet known as "The Architect of Words," Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, passed away today, Saturday. He was one of the most important poets in the kingdom, whose words were celebrated by prominent Saudi and Arab artists. Princess Fahda bint Fahad Al Saud announced the news on her official page, stating: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return, and there is no power nor strength except through Allah, the Exalted, the Great."
The head of the General Entertainment Authority, Advisor Turki Al Sheikh, mourned the death of Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen. A clear cause of death has not been reported by Saudi media at this time. The late poet was born on April 2, 1949. He was a Nabati poet and served as the head of the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts, receiving the King Abdulaziz Medal in 2019.
