Israeli Army Launches Large-Scale Attack on Jabalia... Fierce Clashes

The Israeli army announced the beginning of a large-scale attack on the city of Jabalia and its camp in northern Gaza after hours of requesting residents to evacuate the area towards the west of Gaza City. The spokesperson for the Israeli army stated, "The Israeli forces have begun an attack on Jabalia." Meanwhile, the "Qassam Brigades" announced that their fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with the forces advancing in the area.

Media reports indicated that Israeli military vehicles advanced and were present in the Sikka area of Jabalia camp, moving deeper towards the Riyad al-Salihin square, noting that this area forms the southeastern flank of the Jabalia camp. Palestinian television aired footage showing the Israeli air force conducting a series of intense airstrikes around the shelters in the middle of Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.

According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli army began ground invasion operations in three governorates, coinciding with fire belts executed by the Israeli air force. The same sources reported that the air force is bombing hysterically while the Israeli army has closed off crossings for the injured and aid.

Local media reports indicated that the intensive Israeli bombardment on residential areas caused a massacre in the eastern part of Jabalia camp. Additionally, the Israeli air force targeted the Sikka Street east of Jabalia with a fire belt, resulting in the destruction of dozens of homes. Palestinian sources confirmed that the Israeli army began a wide attack on four locations in the Gaza Strip: Rafah, Deir al-Balah, al-Nusairat, and Jabalia.

The sources also noted that Israeli military vehicles were firing in northern Beit Lahia, while areas in eastern Jabalia, northern Gaza, are facing continuous heavy artillery bombardment.
