British Navy: Explosion Near Ship South of Yemen's Mokha

The British Maritime Trade Operations reported that the captain of a ship 40 nautical miles south of Yemen's Mokha reported an explosion near the vessel. The agency added in a statement today, Wednesday, that the ship and crew are safe. Maersk had stated yesterday that its ship, Maersk Sentosa, reported being targeted by a flying object in the far north of the Gulf of Aden in the early hours of the morning. It is worth noting that Maersk Sealand is a Danish shipping company, founded in Copenhagen in 1904, and is one of the largest companies operating in the container and shipping sector worldwide. It is also known as one of several companies within the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, which encompasses various fields, including container shipping and other diverse sectors.
