Yesterday, a convoy of Emirati aid entered the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, as part of the country's efforts to support and assist the Palestinian brothers during the current circumstances and within the framework of the humanitarian "Brave Knight 3" operation, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The convoy consists of 12 trucks carrying over 264 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, water, and dates. This brings the total number of aid trucks that have entered the sector under the "Brave Knight 3" operation to 440, significantly alleviating the severe conditions faced by the residents of the area and easing the suffering of the most vulnerable populations by providing them with basic necessities.
As of yesterday, the total Emirati aid provided to the Palestinian people under the "Brave Knight 3" humanitarian operation has exceeded 22,436 tons, delivered via 220 cargo planes and three cargo ships, with aid being consolidated in the city of Al-Arish before being transported into Gaza by truck through the Rafah border crossing.
Additionally, the "Brave Knight 3" operation includes the implementation of the "Birds of Good" initiative, which involves aerial drop operations. To date, there have been 43 drops of humanitarian and relief aid to isolated areas of Gaza, totaling 3,000 tons of food and relief supplies.
On another note, the number of cases treated at the UAE field hospital since its establishment in Gaza has exceeded 18,970, with 152 cases evacuated to the Emirati floating hospital in the port of Al-Arish and 166 cases sent for treatment within the UAE. It is noteworthy that the UAE has established six water desalination stations with a production capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day for the direct benefit of Gaza's residents.
