Seven people were killed and more than twenty others were injured by Turkish forces in the Syrian town of Afrin, which is along the Turkish-Syrian border. This occurred amid clashes and angry demonstrations that erupted in numerous cities and towns in northern Syria, within areas controlled by Turkish forces and their allied factions in northern and eastern Aleppo, in reaction to the assaults on Syrian refugees in Turkey.
