According to the Iranian Broadcasting and Television News Agency, Colonel Hadi Mir Abadi was killed during confrontations with armed men in the village of "Jalu." The agency did not disclose the identity of the assailants or the nature of the confrontations that took place between them and the security forces led by Colonel Mir Abadi.
