The Jordanian army announced today, Thursday, the execution of "two aid drop operations for the Gaza Strip, carrying food and relief supplies," according to a statement from a military source in the Jordanian Armed Forces. The source stated, "The drop operation was conducted in collaboration with the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, in support of and solidarity with our people and brothers, and to alleviate the effects of the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip." The military confirmed that "it continues to send aid via an air bridge to deliver humanitarian and medical assistance, whether through aid planes from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport or through aerial drop operations over the Gaza Strip."
Additionally, the spokesperson for the Egyptian Armed Forces stated in a statement: "Several military transport aircraft from Egypt and the UAE took off from El Arish Airport to carry out night aerial drops of dozens of tons of urgent aid and relief materials to alleviate the severe humanitarian crisis faced by Palestinian citizens in northern Gaza." He added: "The aid included large quantities of food, medicines, and urgent necessities that were dropped in various areas of northern Gaza, which lack essential living conditions due to the ongoing military operations." He emphasized: "This comes as part of the efforts coordinated with all active regional and international forces to achieve a ceasefire and deliver urgent aid to alleviate the humanitarian crisis within the Gaza Strip."
