Bushkian: Industry is Lebanon's Beating Heart

Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Deputy George Bushkian, concluded the exhibition of industry in Lebanon held at the "Forum de Beirut," distributing certificates of appreciation to participants. He delivered a speech stating: "Holding an exhibition under these politically cloudy circumstances is a bold adventure, especially if the exhibition is for Lebanese industry, which is itself undertaking the adventure of production, distribution, marketing, export, and competition. In the Ministry of Industry, along with the organizing companies, we have committed ourselves to challenging difficulties, refusing to succumb to them because work, continuity, and seriousness in perseverance are the traits of successful communities." He added, "The Lebanese are known for their steadfastness, resilience, and determination. This has been demonstrated by the industrialists who participated in the exhibition of industry in Lebanon, which brought together the slogans 'Made in Lebanon' and 'Lebanon's Heart Beats for Its Industry.' Thus, industry has become the beating heart of Lebanon, pulsating with giving, goodness, creativity, innovation, unique designs, and technology that keeps pace with the times." The 2024 exhibition will be an event held annually, and it will not be seen as a solitary occasion. It is our duty and is essential for the industrial sector. Through this integration, we succeed together with the aim of enhancing our production, competitiveness, marketing, and export capabilities. For all these reasons, we awarded participants a certificate of appreciation for their contributions and efforts. We promise to see you next year for the sustainability and development of the industry."
