The draw for 5 races will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, including the main race of the 28th edition of the Dubai World Cup for horses 2024, scheduled for March 30 at the "Meydan Racecourse," with total prize money amounting to $30.5 million. The draw will determine the starting gates for each horse participating in the race, which in turn affects their chances based on the quality of the gates allocated.

It is expected that 125 horses from 14 countries will participate in this 28th edition, with 12 horses competing in the main race of the Dubai World Cup, led by the defending champion, the Japanese horse "Ushba Tesoro," competing for a prize of $12 million. The draw for the main race will randomly select the names of the horses as well as the gate numbers they will start from.

The draw will also be conducted for the "Al Quoz Sprint" over a distance of 1200 meters on turf, featuring 12 horses; the "Dubai Golden Shaheen," a 1200-meter dirt race, with 14 horses competing; and the "Dubai Turf," a Grade 1 race over 1800 meters on turf, featuring 16 horses and a total prize pool of $5 million. Additionally, the draw for the eighth race, the "Longines Dubai Shima Classic," over a distance of 2410 meters, involving 12 horses with a total prize money of $6 million, will also take place.
