Six members of a Saudi family, consisting of seven individuals, lost their lives in a traffic accident on the agricultural road connecting Al-Mahd and Medina.
According to the newspaper "Okaz," the family included a father, a mother, an 11-year-old son, and three daughters aged 20, 17, and 15 years old. The only survivor is a 5-year-old boy, who is receiving treatment at the Maternity Hospital in Medina.
Seyaf Al-Shahrani, the brother of the deceased, stated that his brother was assigned to defend the homeland in the southern border two years ago. He decided to relocate his family to the south and was on his way back from Tabuk to the southern border with his family and household belongings when the accident occurred, causing their vehicle to overturn on the Quraida road, resulting in the tragic loss of the entire family except for the youngest child.
Abdul Rahman Hamouda, spokesman for the Medina Health Cluster, informed "Okaz" that the child was transported from the accident site via medical evacuation by the Red Crescent to the Maternity Hospital in Medina, confirming that his health condition is stable and he is receiving the necessary medical care.
