The condolence statement read: "With deep sorrow and great grief, we received the news of the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Mr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their companions during the unfortunate plane crash in northern Iran. As we offer our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and to Iran, government and people, we express our solidarity with the brotherly Iranian people and the responsible brothers in the Islamic Republic in this painful tragedy. We ask God to grant the deceased His vast mercy and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to God and indeed to Him, we shall return."
In the UAE, President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed his sincere condolences to Iran on the death of its president, stating: "My heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy to the Islamic Republic of Iran, leadership and people, on the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions in this painful accident." He added: "We pray for mercy for them and for their noble families patience and solace, confirming the UAE's solidarity with Iran during these difficult times."
Qatar's Amir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, sent his "sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran, government and people, on the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the accompanying delegation."
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad expressed his condolences over the death of the Iranian president, emphasizing Syria's solidarity "with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the families of the deceased and their companions."
Hamas also offered condolences on the passing of Raisi and to the Iranian people, stating: "We are confident that the Islamic Republic of Iran will be able to overcome the repercussions of this great loss, as the dear Iranian people have longstanding institutions capable of dealing with this severe ordeal."
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed, "Our sincere condolences and sympathy to Iran on this grave loss."
