Israeli media reported this Wednesday afternoon a fire in the town of Avi Fim in northern Israel due to the launch of an anti-tank rocket from Lebanon. The "Islamic Resistance" announced the targeting of a building used by Israeli soldiers in "Avi Fim" in response to "attacks on southern villages and electricity workers in Maroun al-Ras." They also announced targeting of the positions of al-Samakah and al-Baghdadi, as well as a building used by enemy soldiers in the Kfar Giladi settlement with rocket fire.
The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichai Adraee, stated that "the Defense Army attacked operatives who were spotted entering military buildings belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon." He said, "The Defense Forces earlier spotted operatives entering a military building in the Mis Jabal area, and shortly after the surveillance, warplanes attacked the building where the operatives were located." He added, "Air force warplanes struck military buildings belonging to Hezbollah in the Ayta Shaab area, along with observation posts in the Alama Shaab area."
