The Shura and Representatives Councils of Bahrain expressed their "pride and appreciation for the valuable results and comprehensive outcomes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to Moscow at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin." In a statement issued by the councils on Friday, they commended the longstanding relations of friendship between Bahrain and Russia, highlighting the achievements and successes that enhance mutual interests and benefit both countries and their friendly peoples.
The councils noted the in-depth discussions that took place between King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Vladimir Putin, affirming both countries' commitment to exchanging views and ongoing consultation. The King also updated President Putin on the outcomes of the Arab summit and the initiatives proposed by Bahrain, particularly regarding the call for an international peace conference in the Middle East.
Moreover, the councils stated that the new memoranda of understanding between Bahrain and Russia are a continuation of the government's efforts to activate the outcomes of the joint governmental committee for commercial, economic, scientific, and technological cooperation.
