Video: Lamborghini Destruction by Fireworks May Land "YouTuber" in Jail

Authorities in California have arrested "YouTuber" Suk Min Choi, known as Alex Choi, after he released a video showing fireworks being shot from a helicopter towards a luxury Lamborghini. The office of the Central California District Attorney stated that Choi has been charged with causing an explosive or incendiary device to be transported by an aircraft. Choi had previously posted a video titled "Destroying a Lamborghini with Fireworks" on July 4, 2023. The approximately 11-minute video shows two women launching fireworks from the helicopter at the sports car, although the clip has since been removed from all of Choi's social media platforms. Authorities consider the footage to have been filmed in June 2023 in a federally owned area in California. Choi is accused of filming in a restricted area without a permit, and prosecutors confirmed that he traveled to Las Vegas to purchase the fireworks, as they are illegal in California. Officials stated that Choi has been released on bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on July 2. According to prosecutors, the popular YouTuber faces a potential 10-year prison sentence if convicted of the charges against him.
