NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg refused to comment on the health status of U.S. President Joe Biden, emphasizing that the alliance does not intervene in the internal political matters of its members. Stoltenberg stated, "I met him two weeks ago, and we had a good meeting in the Oval Office. We made progress in preparing for the NATO summit regarding Ukraine, deterrence, and defense. I welcome his leadership concerning the issue of support for Ukraine and NATO. NATO knows him very well. He has been working with the alliance for many years. One of the reasons for NATO's success is its separation from all internal political issues of its member states." He added that the intervention of the NATO Secretary General in the internal affairs of member states could weaken the alliance.
