Following the crime that led to the murder of the young man Yassin Akal, a member of the Palestinian National Security in Ain al-Hilweh camp, at the hands of Muhammad Jamal Hamad, the political leadership of the national and Islamic forces in the Sidon area held an emergency meeting in the Al-Nour Mosque hall. After communications with the family of the victim, the family of the killer, and some concerned parties, a decision for the delivery was made within a specified timeframe for the relevant authorities. The leadership announced that it would keep its meetings open "until the decision for delivery to the relevant Lebanese authorities is implemented."
