The Telegraph reported that the new Prime Minister of the UK has decided to repeal the "Rwanda Law" concerning the deportation of refugees that was enacted by the previous Conservative government. The Rwanda Law was approved by the UK Parliament on April 22, 2024. The Rwanda Safety Bill was part of Prime Minister Sunak's plan to stop boats carrying illegal migrants to the UK. The royal palace announced on Friday the formal appointment of Keir Starmer as Prime Minister, after receiving the approval of King Charles III to form the government in a ceremony referred to as "kissing hands."
