Title: Bou Habib: Lebanon Seeks Sustainable Border Stability

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, stated during his meeting with Turkish Ambassador Ali Barış Ulusoy that "Lebanon seeks border stability and sustainable calm through an integrated implementation of Resolution 1701." Regarding the displacement issue, he emphasized that "the situation in Syria cannot be left as it is because it harms the interests of everyone," noting that "international cooperation is still insufficient to find a solution to the displacement crisis." Bou Habib congratulated the Turkish Ambassador on the success of the third Antalya conference. He also met with the head of the Economic and Business Council, Raouf Bou Zaki, who briefed him on the preparations for the expatriate economic conference.
