The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has won the title of "Most Influential Arab Leader of 2022" according to a poll conducted by the Arabic-speaking channel RT. The Crown Prince received 7,399,451 votes, accounting for 62.3% of a total of 11,877,546 votes cast in the poll, which began on December 15 and ended at midnight on January 9. The number of votes received by bin Salman set a record in the history of the opinion polls that RT conducts at the end of each year.
The second place went to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, with 2,950,543 votes, representing 24.8% of the total votes. Meanwhile, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi came in third with 1,387,497 votes, making up 11.7% of the total votes cast. With this result, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has retained the title for the second consecutive year.
