Saudi Arabia Launches 5 Residency Options to Attract Talent and Expertise

The Saudi Center for Distinguished Residence announced today the launch of five residency options as part of national objectives to enhance the Kingdom's status and to become a global hub for the best talents and investments. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Board of the Center, pointed out that "the five new residency options are: Exceptional Competence Residency, Talent Residency, Business Investor Residency, Entrepreneur Residency, and Property Owner Residency." He added that "this step serves as a practical expression of the Kingdom's future directions towards a diversified economy based on knowledge and investment in new sectors."

Al-Qasabi confirmed that "the five residency options will provide their holders with opportunities to settle and work in the Kingdom, opening doors for those who add value to the national economy, enabling them to be partners in contributing to Saudi Vision 2030." The introduction of the five options is tailored to meet the needs of different groups: the "Exceptional Competence" residency is designed for administrative, health, scientific, and research experts with unique skills or experiences, including senior executives who contribute to transferring knowledge to the national workforce.

The "Talent" residency is aimed at cultural and sports talents and specialists, allowing them to be part of the cultural and sports movement and ongoing development. Meanwhile, the "Business Investor" residency is intended for investors looking to invest in various economic sectors in the Kingdom and to benefit from the competitive opportunities and advantages it offers while developing its business environment. The "Entrepreneur" residency is granted to entrepreneurs and owners of innovative and creative project ideas who wish to launch their businesses or develop their startups in the Kingdom.
