The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its members, along with fighters from other factions, are engaged in intense armed clashes with Israeli forces in the Jenin camp. The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, stated that its fighters in Jenin Battalion uncovered a special force that attempted to infiltrate the camp and showered it with heavy gunfire. They added that their engineering unit detonated a series of explosive devices targeting occupation vehicles, hitting them directly.
The Israeli army targeted a site with a suicide drone in Jenin camp, with reports of several injuries. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in a statement that there are "two martyrs and 20 injuries from Israeli army gunfire who arrived at the Jenin governmental hospital." Channel 12 reported that the house seized by security forces in the camp belongs to the commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades there.
Additionally, it was noted that soldiers arrested a senior official during the Jenin operation. The Palestinian presidency warned that "the occupation is pushing matters toward a comprehensive confrontation that no one will be able to bear the consequences of.
