The President of the UAE Accountability Authority, Hamid Obaid Abu Shpays, met with Didier Migaud, President of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life, Isabelle Jacques, Head of the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA), and Louis Guittet, the public prosecutor of the French Court of Accounts, during an official visit by the authority's delegation to France.
During the meetings held on Thursday in the French capital, Paris, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and France in the fields of oversight and integrity, as well as addressing mutual interests. The roles, powers, and responsibilities of the UAE Accountability Authority were also reviewed.
This visit by the UAE Accountability Authority to France aligns with the country's efforts to enhance its global standing as a leading state in oversight and integrity and is part of its strategy to promote knowledge transfer, international cooperation, and the exchange of best practices and experiences among countries.
