Statement from the Directorate of Real Estate Affairs

The General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs announced in a statement that "the real estate registry offices in Mount Lebanon will deliver the second batch of ready payment orders and the third batch of ready property deeds to the owners or their legal representatives on Friday, March 22, 2024, and will also receive requests for replacement of lost documents. The mechanism for receipt has been defined, and concerned individuals are advised to visit the official website of the General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs, WWW.LRC.GOV.LB, under the 'Latest News' section to verify the presence of their payment order or deed in the published lists on the site. For deeds only, they should then proceed to the relevant tax offices to obtain the stamps (2*50,000 = 100,000 L.L.) or a receipt of stamp payment from recognized financial companies. The locations for obtaining stamps are as follows: Baabda Tax Office (Real Estate Registry in Baabda - Aley - Chouf), Metn Tax Office (Real Estate Registry in Metn), Jounieh Tax Office (Real Estate Registries in Jounieh - Byblos). Note: The location for delivering payment orders pertaining to the Byblos district is at the auxiliary real estate office in Byblos Serail."
