A tense session in the Israeli Knesset ended late Wednesday after National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir referred to Arab deputies Ahmad Tibi and Ayman Odeh as terrorists. The situation escalated when the two deputies, visibly angry, approached the platform where Ben Gvir was speaking. Members of the Knesset from the Likud Party intervened, while Ben Gvir shouted at the deputies in Arabic, demanding their expulsion from the hall.
The session, which included several ministers, discussed a prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas, but the ministers failed to reach an agreement and accused Ben Gvir of thwarting the deal. They also accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of politicizing security decisions related to the war.
The Israeli website Bhol.co.il reported that Ben Gvir lost his temper during his speech and harassed Arab Knesset members. When two of them approached him, he yelled, “Get all the terrorists out… they are all terrorists." The Deputy Speaker of the Knesset quickly objected to his statements, stating they "should not be said." Nevertheless, Ben Gvir stood by his remarks and questioned, "Do they condemn the killing of military personnel? Do they condemn the kidnappers?"
