Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government Ali Hamie pointed out that "the measures taken at Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut, as well as in other seaports, are under continuous and ongoing monitoring given the current circumstances, particularly concerning the movement of departing and arriving passengers at the airport, and similarly for cargo transport via the seaports." Hamie added, "Readiness is in place to activate emergency plans regarding the infrastructure that the ministry is concerned with. For all of this, the phase requires collective efforts to overcome any financial or administrative obstacles."
