A White House official revealed on Friday details regarding what happened after the current president Joe Biden's debate with his opponent Donald Trump. CNN reported that a White House official stated there was a group text exchange among staff after the debate. According to the official, the group texts on Friday were "bad" and "everyone is pessimistic." The official added that there were messages with jokes about "updating people's resumes." The source of frustration, according to the official, was that White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients and Senior Advisor Anita Dunn had not addressed the staff after Biden's weak debate performance. The official clarified that "the inner circle is used to not having to say anything, but we cannot pretend that yesterday didn't happen."
