Thirty-five people were killed, and dozens were injured, some in critical condition, due to a fire in a building in the Al-Mangaf area, southern Kuwait. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed that "the fire in Al-Mangaf has been controlled." Earlier, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced that it has dealt with and provided full medical care so far to 43 cases affected by various injuries, including serious injuries. In a statement today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health indicated that the injured have been distributed across several hospitals in Kuwait, with 21 cases at Adan Hospital, 6 cases at Farwaniya Hospital, 1 case at Amiri Hospital, 11 cases at Mubarak Hospital, and 4 cases at Jaber Hospital for necessary treatment. The ministry confirmed that all medical teams are making every effort to provide intensive and urgent care for the injured.
